Dear Mr. Connell:

I was delighted when Dave asked me to write a reference for him.  Dave worked with us for nearly a year looking for a modest investment/future house in Bend, Oregon. Dave was with Sotheby’s at the time, and I know that most of his focus was probably on higher end properties.  You would never know that from the quality of his service.

Dave was very helpful in giving us an overview of the market and the neighborhoods that might be appropriate for what we were looking for, and he did this twice – as my husband was not on the first trip to Bend.  Once we focused on the neighborhood that we were looking for, Dave’s portal on the MLS system provided us with great information and was very helpful in the looking for property four hours away.

He was very patient and well informed – and I believe he had visited each house the day before our searches, so he was up to date on the situation with the house.  As it turned out, we found a house that was just exactly what we were looking for, in the neighborhood that we were looking for, and for the right price.  I believe Dave had a lot to do with the educating us as to what to expect in the rapidly changing Bend market.

During the contract phase of the process, he was right there in helping us to get to the closing at the time we needed to do so – kept track of the credit union, appraiser, inspector and title company, and attended the closing.  He was very good about returning phone calls or emails and provided incredible service.  He is also a very nice man and it was fun to spend time with him.  I am sure that he will be an asset to your office and wish him great success in his work in Santa Rosa.
